Comments:

This Fender Concert II (often simply called the "Concert") is from the Rivera Era, and was manufactured in 1982.This amp was part of the "II Series" designed by Paul Rivera, whom Fender hired to modernise their lineup and compete with the high-gain "boutique" amps of the time (like Mesa/Boogie). It was the flagship of the series and replaced the older, non-switching silverface models. These are famous for being among the last Fender production amps to be point-to-point hand-wired on eyelet boards before the company switched to Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). It was one of Fender's first successful attempts at a dual-channel amp with a foot-switchable "Lead" channel. Because of its high headroom and "Blackface-style" clean channel, it was a favourite of David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) and Larry Carlton during the 1980s.
