This 2007 Mini-Martin āTerz" is a highly collectible acoustic guitar produced as a serialized special edition. It is the result of a passionate historical revival project spearheaded by Martin Guitarās longtime artist liaison and archivist,Ā Dick Boak.Ā Despite its compact proportions, it is built with the precise craftsmanship, bracing patterns, and premium solid tonewoods of a full-sized professional Martin.Ā The āTerz" designation on the label (meaning "third" in German) dates back to 19th-century European romantic classical music. It was fundamentally designed to be tuned a minor third higher than standard tuning (G to G instead of E to E).
